stuttering! can I download an older version of the game?

Theres a thread on stuttering I know, but no solution. It's every few seconds, with mods or without, after fresh install etc. Did not have the problem last summer so my question is, is there anyway i can get v1.0.2282 back? something is different and because of it I can't play the game with that stuttering

DRM-free no, the sendowl link only give you the option to download the latest version.
So far i know steam offer you to use older version, but i don't know if that include 1.0 version you need to check it self.
