If you delete a decree quest's monument marker you're stuck

Hello!
I've got a Knight that issued a decree. I've mistakenly demolished/deleted/ruined the marker and the whole monument's plan, confusing it for a quest I did not intend to finish.
It turned out I demolished his decree's monument.
So now he's always angry about it.
And I don't seem to be able to resume constructing the monument.
Is there anything that can be done?
Will my guy be grumpy about it for eternity and go berserk?

You're right, this should work differently. We will solve it. For now you're stuck, but the noble will forget about the decree eventually. It takes a while though.
