Ok, so I purchased the influencer package (I would have gone a few tiers up if my card wasn't so limp) about 2 hours ago, and I have only received an email saying I have paid, from "sendowl". How long should it take for the proper email to arrive? Even if it is just a place holder .txt

You should get the link to all the placeholder files in that first email. It says "you can download your purchase from " then a link.

Nope, only have the one email. Subject - Receipt for order #0001519xxx from sendowl downloads. I will keep an eye open for the email tomorrow : ]

Does that mean you already released the pre-alpha? I am an Kickstarter Influence-tier backer as well and haven't received any email regarding the download links.

The only mail I've got is from Kickstarter itself saying that they successfully charged my CC.

But why do people get emails already then with the placeholder download links and I don't? Seems strange to me.

PS: Fuck Kickstarter... Taking 2 weeks to compile a list is ridiculous.

the people who paid with paypall got a email with a placeholder link.
There isn't a game to download there yet

And well kickstarter needs time to verify payments legal issues etc etc.
