Rimworld for Mac

I downloaded RimWorld for Mac, and unzipped the file, extracting a folder called RimWorld1-1-2575Mac. So far, so good. However, when I then double-click on the RimWorld icon that I get when I open the folder (RimWorldMac), I get a message telling me "The application 'RimWorldMac' can't be opened. Any tips?
