"..." Box Stuck on Main Menu

Hello all,

I recently added mods to my RimWorld, but upon exiting the game and trying to start it up at a later time, I was met with the "..." box on the main menu. I could still hear the main menu music and the button sounds whenever I hovered over the right side of the screen. I have removed every mod from the Workshop from my game, deleted the Config folder under AppData, uninstalled the game, reinstalled it hoping for the vanilla version, and yet I am still getting this error of the "..." box remaining and the music still playing along with the button sounds on the right side of the screen. I have followed every step from this thread: https://ludeon.com/forums/index.php?topic=4805 and yet nothing has changed. Has anyone else ran into this problem and if so, what can I do to completely reset everything so that I can start from vanilla again.

P.S. setting the game back to version 1.0 seems to work just fine, but 1.1 and the subsequent versions do not work. I will post the log below.
