Horrible stuttering at the mid game makes Rimworld unplayable for me

Look at how horrible this stuttering is. The thing is it's not even late in the game. I only have 290k wealth. This doesn't make any sense, it should not be stuttering this bad. There aren't any errors in the console log to tell me why this could be happening.

My PC has a 1070 TI with an r7 [email protected]. There isn't any reason for this game to be lagging.

This literally showed up out of nowhere. One day it was fine now it started lagging like this for no reason. I had to delete my old save because this happened as well.

Also to clarify. There is nothing in my logs at all. Disabling my mods doesn't do anything to solve it.

Upload the save and the logfile anyway. At the moment you're asking for guesses.
My best guess is that it has something to do with that trade caravan/visitors.

I think i remember a similar lag issue, but can't find the topic.
Try just to disable Smart Speed.
