You face alot of raiders while you play through rimworld, and capture alot of them too. So shouldnt thier be a "risk" factor involved?
Sure some of them have a change of heart, but isnt there also a risk of them betraying you when their friends show up, or even getting a couple other captured raiders to steal guns and revolt against you? Your making raiders kill what could be their own brothers, Its reasonable to assume that is a chance that they decide to betray you and help their comrads instead.

Captured raider leaders would have a higher chance of organizing a rebellion depending on how aggressive they are. But they also have more skills, is it worth the risk?

Balance could be the longer you have them, the less likely they want to kill you because there making new friends/enjoying life, if they really like living at your colony a loyal raider could even rat out who is trying to get you out of power so you can deal with it.

Turncoats during raids would be quite something. They turn off the power just prior to the raid and your automated defences don't work anymore.  ;D FUN!!!  ;D

So someone who was a "con artist" may be really useful or may steal food and money and leave.

Note to self: Resume mandatory executions of all captured raiders, con artists, and clowns.
