what can i do with mud?

i haven't played for a year and i don't remenber what to do with mud. impossible to build or to grow anything...

You can build a bridge over it, then you should be able to build a light wall over it.
You can research and build a moisture pump to dry out the ground, that turn's any terrain with water into soil.

At vanilla gameplay no.
You can use hydroponics.

If you like to use mods, there are terraforming mod. Fertile Fields at example allow to transform any terrain into another.
Vegetable garden allow you to place a soiled overlay on these underground.
