Gourmand’s food binge don’t get catharsis mood buff afterward?

I'm not sure if it's intended or bug. Just like the state on the topic name, I'd saw the colonist with gourmand trait occasionally food binge but don't gain anything afterwards.

That is because the binge was related to his trait and not a mental break (gourmands can randomly go on food binges).

Relatedly - does the end of a gourmand binge grant a chance for tortured artist to activate?

AFAIK, nope because it was not a mental break. With that said I never tried it because I never, ever allow a gourmand to stick around to find out.
