[1.2.2753] Colonist Death Count +1 or more at start

Me again...  ;)

I have two games in a row with deaths at start of game. First game had 1 colonist killed and the next game had 2 colonist killed.  The game with 2 deaths had relationships mother/son.

I hit randomize ALOT till I get a 3 colonist I like

Royalty / No Mods
Crash Landing / Random Randy / Commitment Mode /  Loosing is fun / Globe coverage 100% / Boreal Forest / 275x275 Map Size

Poor Zite,
looks like you are the only one who encounter that problem so far.
I loaded your both safegame multiple times, and never died one of them.
Pheanor wrote at the other topic he couldn't reproduce it too.

I realy thing there is either a problem at your rimworld installation or you have a demonic random generator at your mashine ! :-)
Goto the Saved data area and delete anything beside Saves.
Try to delete your Rimworld installation, don't use uninstall because uninstall would left old files.
Then reinstall rimworld and royalty and try it again with the safegames you uploaded.

When they are still die, you HAVE a demonic random generator.

Well none of my colonist die, just the that statistics tab states that x colonist have been killed.

Uninstalled game, deleted everything in %appdata% folder and reinstalled game through steam, I was able to reproduce on 7th game make.

Thanks for dealing with this very un-gamebraking bug, just my play style to have no colonist killed in game statistics :)

Edit: Now i cant reproduce it after 20+ games.

The only thing I notice is when there is a normal game, storyWatcher doesnt even have a colonistsKilled section in the save file, so I guess it just comes down to whats causing the storyWatcher to set <colonistsKilled>1</colonistsKilled> at start of game

Ok, misunderstanding from myside. I though about dead people on start.
I never looked/notice/care about the Colonist death count myself. So even afte years you can find new things ! :-)

But when the problem didn't appear after 20+ games anymore it looks like it realy was some old version files problem.
And when you get tiered about to reroll you pawns until they got the wanted combination, why you don't try the mod
EdB's Prepare Carefully, then you can adjust anything manualy.
