[1.3.3071] Faction infuriated that I mprisoned a slave they sold me

Faction A sells me a slave originating from Faction A
I imprison said slave from Faction A(for conversion)
Faction A is infuriated that I impisoned a slave they sold me and relations go from +5 to -70 or so.

I had a similar experience. I bought a slave, a day later he rebelled (even though he was at 80% suppression), I shot at him and every hit took 10 relation of of the faction I bought him from. At the end I was firmly at -100 with them.

I noticed that the slave was still marked as being part of the faction I bought him from. I think that might be the root cause. It also says that he will return to that faction, if I emancipate him - why would he return to his old slavers?

Like this slaves are a massive liability.

Yeah it seems attacking or imprisoning a slave will damage relations as game tracks slaves as members of said faction.
SO far slavery is nearlly non-usable, save for options where yo take slaves from permanently hostile factions.
