[1.3.3087] Caravan food goes missing on second visit

I recently arrived at a quest location (Shack of Fortune) and the 8 days worth of food I had acquired from the previous location mysteriously vanished.  The caravan indicated I had the food prior to arriving, with plenty of time before rot.  The pack yak retained other items from the previous stop, as did the other colonists.

I lost raw meat and berries (100+ each). I did not notice whether the items were there in the time between the area generation and the ambush, but they certainly were not there following the ambush.

I don't know if it matters, but I had a colonist visit the first location and then the whole group left together to go to the Shack.

It sounds like the food spoiled, raw meat rots after only a day or so when not refrigerated.  Thanks for the bug report, this appears as intended however.
