Not sure if your still experiencing this issue. but if you are likley video card issue. Try adding to your launch options (on steam) or command line -force-opengl or -force-glcore and see if it helps.

I followed this method and now I am getting another Error:

Failed to initialize player

InitializeEngineGraphics failed

Like this. Any help is appreciated  :'(

Okay your gunna probably have to do some troubleshooting. My suggestion works for certain video cards, of a certain age. I'm not sure what your running. but could also be related to directx. As thats an error that pops up in relation to directx version problems sometimes, in some games. lol

On windows, mac or linux?

you might have to use another string to force another setting. For example, I'm just winging it here, but you could try:

-force-d3d9

Which would then force possibly, directx versions.

-force-d3d9
-force-d3d10
-force-d3d11

Each would do version 9-11 respectively.

As has been linked may hold what you need, but you'll have to consider what it is your running on as well.

Good luck, hopefully you figure it out or someone else can chime in.

Ropeman if you're using a newer Mac then I think Opengl support has been deprecated for Metal. At least that's partly why I'm avoiding the upgrade too; I read that it would break half my software. I could be wrong, because I'm going off the top of my head, but maybe look into this.
