Restrict an area as off limits.
Assign human pawn to this area.
Assign human to hunting an animal within the area.
Observe when fleeing animal flees into disallowed area.
Hunter pawn may path into the area or even shoot inside area.

Thanks for the bug report.  From what it sounds like, you are assigning a pawn (as in a human) to hunt another pawn (that is human), as this is not possible in the base game this would not be a vanilla bug. I would recommend contacting the author of whatever mod allows this behavior to get this fixed.

If this is not a modded game, could you please explain what is going on a bit better?  What do you mean when you say hunted?

Oh sorry are animals not called pawns in game terminology?  Hunting an animal, completely vanilla game.

I've always thought of pawns generally as the human actors of the game.  Either way, could you be more clear?  It is very difficult for me to understand what is going on by describing all creatures as pawns.  So which person is fleeing into a disallowed area?  Are you referring to a human that caused a manhunter break in an animal they are hunting, then it turns around and chases the colonist? This then causes the colonist to flee in a random direction?  If this is the case, it is intended behavior.  During the 'fleeing' state, a pawn is not thinking rationally and won't obey restrictions.  Shooting into an area is definitely intended behavior.  I'll try and see if I can replicate the following hunter pawn actually going into a disallowed area.

I have edited the original message to say which is human and which is animal.
