It is nice to see this thread since I've seen similar annoyances. My favorite is when they choose that food rations, the kind enemies bring with them when they siege, far out ways any other food and you can't prioritize them on eating other food. I've had this be a problem since these are either on the map from an old enemy encampment, or drop podded somewhere, and in either case they travel way too far just to grab one and then don't bother to haul any back even though they are holding nothing after they eat it way out in the middle of nowhere. But more in relation to what this post is originally about, I've seen quite a few issues with doctors feeding and healing other people continuously while they starve, to the point of making them go insane. It seems like as soon as they get to a certain level of hungry they should automatically do that above everything else, that is unless they are drafted and in the middle of a fight.

Just had a colonist drop dead of starvation because she preferred having a chat with prisoners and then healing the wounded instead of getting something to eat. Half the colony is starving at the moment because they'd rather go about their business instead of eat. I can't even remember most of their jobs when I have some 20 colonists that I need to uncheck every box on then recheck after eating.

The solution is simple:
1. Have a colonist is hungry who won't eat.
2. Draft them
3. Tell them to walk next to your food (stockpile or nutrient dispenser)
4. Un-draft them
5. Profit
