The 4th DLC is inevitable in the foreseeable future. I suggest this:

Name: Bulwark

About: It would be focused on the combat aspect of the game, it would make the game world feel very lively, and add that needed immersion to the game. The idea for this DLC is that it would add to the already existing point of "life on the rim" idea added with Biotech.

Content: This DLC would add vehicles, both combat and utility vehicles to the game. It would also add war robots which would function as manned mechanoids, these would allow colonists to operate powerful specialised robots that would function as very strong armor with its own weapons. The point is that both the robots and vehicles could be customized fully.

Another thing this DLC would contain is an overhaul to the combat system, the shooting skill would be more powerful on higher levels with aiming times and range increasing with skill. Another thing would be the addition of a much higher comlexity to gunshot injuries with some having the need to be operated on for the removal of bullets etc. The addition of a mental effect for combat could also be really cool, for example a form of trauma, after watching people die or getting nearly killed could make a colonist suffer from mental diseases, on the other hand, special positive mental breaks like desperation to keep going, when their child or loved one is in danger could be really cool and add to the storytelling, kinda like the combat command but only affecting one person.

Another part of this DLC would be the world. What I mean is the planet living, not just life being centered around your colony and everything outside just being a tiny addition. Factions would have their own territory systems, their settlements would have different ranks and different loot and security. The world map would be constantly changing with factions battling and taking over each others settlements. Factions would own territory and have and add settlements to it. Military outposts would be common, these would be the tiny bases where factions would stage attacks on others, these would have low loot but also low security. There would be HQs which would contain even the leader of the faction. The player would have a new mechanic to use, this would be the ability to create AI controlled settlements that could be assigned different work to do without the player needing to oversee it. These settlements could store people from the player controlled settlement and also could automatically serve as a way to recruit new people. The settlements would give a way for the player to utilise the territory system. In the world, there could be new worldwide events to add liveliness to the world, these could be battles between factions which could add quests for the player like a "battle aftermath" where a lot of corpses, loot and possible recruits would be located, these would have players scavenge the battlefields. Being allied to factions would serve more purpose as maybe possibly joint operations with allies could be a thing, like staging attacks on enemies etc. This would all be more for the late game but it would add to the idea of "life on the rim". There could be also different events across the world to spice up the gameplay, such as:

Ship Startup - this would allow the player to become a raider and attack a starting up ship to try to take it over and escape, and would serve as a new possible ending alternative. It would require taking out the defenders and then fend off the remaining raids.

Battle - 2 factions would have an active fight and the player could join to get some loot or even help allies.

Settlement sieges - these would mean that factions are fighting for a settlement and the player could join the defense or attacker in order to maybe improve relations and gain loot or rewards depending on who they are helping.

Civil war -  a faction has split into many sides, this would add new enemies or allies to the game which means that the number of factions would not be determined at the start.

There could also be new quests from factions to help in a plan to attack a faction for rewards. Utilizing the new vehicle system, raids would have more variety plus travelling on the map would be more expansive and would allow player factions to have settlements across the whole planet. Diplomacy in the game would add a lot of possibilites and would encourage the player to make allies.

I would really like to see this be read and considered, Im not expecting this to be the new DLC but something similar would be awesome!
