Speed up game is buggy when using WASD.

Hello, I'm just on my second game here but after about an hour of play whenever I use the buttons to speed up the game it works fine until I touch the WASD keys and then i experience extremely low FPS. Once my characters sleep it works fine again until i touch WASD. I'm still playing around with this so I'll update if I figure out anything else.

EDIT: Ok, after alt tabbing away from the game I did a few things such as turn power back on my nutrient dispenser and interacted with a prisoner and then it started working fine again. I'm not sure what fixed it as I tried alt tabbing before.
