Does anyone know where I can find the Alpha 15 download, because I want to take a look at some of my old presets?

This is the most recent Alpha 15 release: https://github.com/edbmods/EdBPrepareCarefully/releases/tag/v0.15.1.3

I've never modded Rimworld before, but this is exactly what I need.  Thanks so much!

I cannot see the prepare carefully button anywhere :( (A16)

Thanks for the good work EdB!
This is the single most important mod in making RW fun for me!

I'd like to make one request/suggestion:
A16 seems to support at least 7 traits per pawn. It'd be great if Prepare Carefully could also let you set 7 traits instead of only 3.

Anyway, keep up the good work!

Prepare carefully doesn't seem to recognize EPOE artificial organs anymore. Could this be fixed? I wanted to throw my cyborgs into the game :(

I have it on top. In fact, I've tried both PC on top and EPOE on top. Still no cigar :(

For the life of me I can't figure why this isn't working. I can install ADVANCED bionic eyes and the like, but not synthetic organs

This is my current setup

This is what shows up: http://pasteboard.co/geSW3Jaks.png

As a sidenote: I disabled all mods except EPOE and prepare carefully and it STILL didn't work

I'm also having this issue regardless of load order with both epoe and glittertech. Strangely enough Orassans will show SOME modded parts, but not all.

Orassans have built-in "EdB PC"

I was using 1.6.1.2

I've been provided the latest version since and now it works.

Apologies that it took me a little while to update the download links in the forum topic with the latest release.  They should now be up-to-date.

The last couple of patch releases fixed the issues where EPOE bionics were not available in Prepare Carefully and fixed errors that were happening if you tried to equip certain items--including the backpacks from Combat Realism.

Hello! Loving the mod!

However, something I've noticed in my game (I'm not sure if that's expected behavior as of now or not), is that some of the backgrounds seem to have a preset gender or name/nickname assigned to them in their descriptions (and I assume it also affects combinations in a randomly generated pawn).

Quick example, selecting the "Space Smuggler" child background for my female colonist Ariane gives her the not-so fitting background description of "Aided by his small size, Tater became very adept at carrying out his parents' missions [...]".

Now I'm wondering, might it be possible to modify the descriptions to have them reflect the nick/name and gender of the colonist instead?

Thanks in advance for any answers about that one!

BlackGyver:

That is Vanilla, not Prepare Carefully; PC simply makes it apparent, because those backstories are usually tied to specific characters that are always rolled together; So Space Smuggler is a background for a male Name-in-Game character (I don't know all of the reward tiers, and it's the same idea) named Tater;

Theoretically, the description should still use the wildcards, but it's not uncommon for them to not do so.
