Hey guys I just made a Silver Nose mod in 27 minutes for the awesome streamer TimSoulSurfer. It adds prosthetic noses or a "silver peg nose" :D

Have fun
You need NewRecipeNurse for this!
RECIPE NURSE

Where's the accompanying (almost successful) failed assassination attempt background event to justify the wound?

skullywag

Skullywag modded to death.
I'd never met an iterator I liked....until Zhentar saved me.
Why Unity5, WHY do you forsake me?

Does it restore the abilityof the nose?
Its silver, to have the abilities of a real nose you need to replicate one on the organ lab desk.

I haven't got the option in the health tab. I have a couple of colonist needing a "nose job", enough medicine to treat them, and silver, obviously. It doesn't appear at all.

Did you install Recipe Nurse? Did you activate it? Did you restart the game?

Does the nose even have an ability ingame? As far as I know there is no "Smelling" in the Health Tab and I have no idea what it would even affect.

The nose doesnt have a special job. Its just there and if its not you get a silver one :D

Julia I can't help but think that if you spent more time making a single great mod instead of all these tiny quirky ones we'd more or less already have RimWorld finished in terms of content not yet added officially.

Granted the fiasco between you and Abrexus left a sour taste in my mouth, but honestly if you were to ever sit down and work on another great quality mod like Apoth. I'd have to start seriously rooting for you.
Ugh... I have SO MANY MESSES TO CLEAN UP. Oh also I slap people around who work on mods <3

Yes, yes and yes. I followed all steps. Actually, I have the mod for brain removal not working either...

Hmm looks like a mod overwriting the original human ThingDef. Have a look into the mod folders and deactivate the mods which have a "Races_Humanoid" file. If this works delete the file from the folder and inform the author about the incompatibility with RecipeNurse mods (all major medicine mods) and ask him kindly to change this.

I dont know if I currently have the inspiration to make another good big mod and so Im trying to make small and sometimes weird single feature implementations until I have THE idea which could become another great mod. Also my work on proofs of concept is a huge effort with seemingly little outcome but maybe one day one of those become the next big thing. Im trying not to push it and wait for the perfect inspiration.

Eh, Ellie did a Stream and apparently got caught by Abrexus taking credit for a huge portion of the mod she had little to do with at all. It more or less drove Abrexus into not caring much anymore for his mod and at this rate I believe he's just abandoned ship; not sure haven't talked to him in a few weeks.
