Non Powered Lights

Is there a mod out there that adds non powered lights to the game like wood burning braziers? I need them for my mines since I dig deep into the mountains looking for metal and plasteel.

My more deco mod currently has a path light in it. I do want to make it use solar and have a small battery but havent had time. Currently lights with a blue/purple glow but doesnt require power, lights to 5 i think.

To be honest all I want is something that doesn't require electricity to use like, (What I said in the OP) a wood burning brazier) or a wood burning fire. Something which won't let you down whilst mining deep or in a solar flare.

If you know how to add a new def for a light im xml (i.e. copy the standing lamp) i can give you a dll that makes it require no power to glow. You can then give it a texture of whatever. If youd rather not I can knock up a cheaty singular small light when i get home if you can wait a few hours.

I do not know anything about modding. (I do know how to install mods though)

If possible, could you give it a Tiki torch style texture and give it a orange glow so it looks like it has a fire in the top of it?

Thanks. I remember that there was mod mod a while back that gave you wood burning stoves and braziers, but I think it has been abandoned.

This would be pretty cool actually, a few torches could go a long way deep in the mountains. I'm not sure whether I'd want them to really consume wood though, although I guess I would.

They would have too. Otherwise you'd have an never turning off light-source on your hands and that'd be cheating. That is why it need to use wood to burn. Plus it would like pretty. A couple of animated fires on top of braziers/torches. It would be nice.

Ah, I get it now. It has been a while since I last played Minecraft so I tend to forget things about it.
