Okay, I call bullshit. What the hell is going on? Has something like that happened before on a previous trip? And what on earth was that sound we heard just before the ship shook?

(Gareth eyes the pilot suspiciously)

[Halinder]

"Jesus, Gareth. A pilot says its turbulence, it's just his plane going very very wrong. Hey pilot, you /usually/ let your equipment fall into disrepair?"

Cuffs grimaces, removing a water bottle from his pack and undoing the cap before pouring some onto the bloodied wound at his glove, which is now closed. He then caps the bottle, placing it back into his pack before wiping away the clotted blood around his hand, making a mental note to suture the glove back together before finally glancing to the back of the ship.

"'Cause it sure as hell does not sound repaired."

you hear what sounds like footsteps-but extremely light
coming from the very back of the ship but getting louder quickly
whatevers making the noise is very close

[Halinder]

"Hey, uh. Anyone else get the sinking feeling that we're all about to be horrendously maimed by boarders?"

La'Vendez says this as he raises himself from his seat, scanning the room for any emergency oxygen supplies, especially considering that any boarders would cause massive damage to atmospheric integrity. His left hand remains in his satchel, fixated around his plasteel hatchet's handle but not actually removing it fully.

(Gareth reaches into his satchel and pulls out his old Colt M2214, and loads a magazine into the receiver)

(He keeps it on his lap but is ready to fire it at any moment)

[Reysuke]

Gareth! Get ready.
(rushes towards the wall with the door the "Thing" should walk thru)
(Rey press his ear to the wall and listen to any more sounds and how far they away)
If i hear them at the door you will shoot them. No need for me to get Lucy ready or my Pistol.
They cant surprise us. Just talk silently

(Gareth nods towards Rey and turns around to use his seat as a shield, he aims his Colt at the door, ready to fire at any sign of trouble)

[Halinder]

"Uh. Doesn't sound like they /NEED/ to surprise us. Hell, let's hope they're low-tech, or we might have bullets sailing through these walls any second now. I'll just uh.."

Cuffs fixates himself at Gareth's side, a distance from the door but not enough to make him completely useless, removing his plasteel hatchet, letting it hang loosely in his hand rather than preparing for battle whilst muttering.

"Yeah, uh. You all might want to hold onto something, by the way."

[Reysuke]

I could give you my Pistol Cuff.

(Takes Lucy of his back and put her close to him but still holding the leash)

[Halinder]

"Me? A gun? That's bad news waiting to happen. Ballistics are uh.. not my strong suit. How about we just check out what's behind the door..?"

He hesitantly steps forth, hatchet raising steadily as he does so.

(Gareth looks hesitantly at the door, then to Cuffs)

You sure thats a good idea?

[Reysuke]

(smiles)
I still have my two good old carbon knifes on me.
But then i found Lucy.
(Sees Cuff going towards the Door)
Could be a bad Idea, but we might have to engage.
