I amn't sure if this is coincidence or not, but one of my colonists is named Fess. RimWorld's fiction is inspired for a part by Firefly, and fans of the series will have noticed that Fess was the virgin son of the magistrate of the planet that Jaynestown takes place (Episode 7).

I wonder if it's an in-joke : P

I also noticed something. I had a trade ship called: Ludeon (forgot the other). They were an industrial trader.

Dragula

There seem to be some subtle hints to influences in the game.
Also noticed ludeon,  the trader. Jean-Luc is lovely pointer, Patrick steward is the man  8)

It's Ludeon Lubricant Company :)

We'd considered naming the game company this just for fun. Or, like, the Mauritania Import Export Company or something. Decided not to but the least I can do it put it in the game.
