Blood Clotting

Isn't it a bit silly to take an arrow and then proceed to bleed for days on end? The body usually clots minor wounds in three minutes, surely a wound would have to close somehow without needing treatment. I just say this because it's annoying when you have a single colonist that gets wounded, or one incapable of doctor's work when your other guy is hurt.

In all honesty if you've got an Arrow stuck in you then you'll probably die from shock instead of blood loss.

IMO if pain reaches 75% then you get knocked out, 100% and you die from your heart exploding.

Medicine and herbs can curb pain.

But I do agree that blood loss shouldn't go on for several days. Hours sure, but its gotta stop. That said people bleed too slowly TBH you can bleed out in a matter of MINUTES. Combat IRL is deadly.

Yes, combat is deadly here too. The point of the thread is about papercuts bleeding for days.
The body won't stop, let's say, abdominal bleeding from a spear thrust, but a slash on the arm (that didn't reach bone - or an artery) usually gets better.
We aren't talking about infections here. But the body somehow manage to self heal.
