Not particularly saying I'd like to see less content updates, but at some point I hope you do one just making a lot of the "little things" better...

There's a tonne of stuff that really needs improvement now. (There's a lot of awesome suggestions in the suggestions forum).

The trade screen takes ages if you have like 10,000 of something you need to get rid of...
Eating food in a configurable order...
Being able to create specific jobs for a specific interaction object in the Overview menu...

etc..

Love the content so far though too. ;)

This is easily the best Early Access Alpha I have spent money on, and I have a few from Dayz, to Prison Architect, the forest, the long dark etc..

This is definitely the one I have the most fun with man.

To be honest, out of all of the alphas and early access games i have played this has an amazing amount of polish and lack of bugs.  Yes there are a few small or slightly annoying bugs or aspects but compared to other early games it is extremely playable.  The more features that are added will cause more bugs to pop up or previously working features to become buggy.  It doesn't make sense to perfect the game or interface until the majority of the game is complete and implemented.

I do already spend a tremendous amount of time cleaning up little issues.

For the trade screen you can repeatedly grab and move the slider. It's faster.
The other two complaints I'd never heard anyone ask for before!

But yes, I will definitely continue to do little-issue cleanup. I think I have a few weeks of this ahead of me right now, actually. Alpha 9 might not have a gigantic new feature.

Well there are other issues too, I am not sure if it's the modpacks themselves or mods, but whenever I play with TTM for instance - I can make various ways of creating food resources (meals) and still the popup for "create a food source" is on the screen the whole game. Whether that's because the mod author hasn't made the change or there's just no way for him to specify a particular new workbench as a meal source I don't know.

As to the rest, I read exactly some of these things in the past week on the suggestions forum.. Like creating a job specific to stone working, so instead of just having "crafting" you could be more specific...

And have it configurable to the tables available for working at - so that "crafting" could still be an umbrella job, but if you wanted to specify stoneworking or tailoring, you could, but then if there's a modded advanced tailoring table that could also be made into a job.

Especially that one for modding - because the amount of extra jobs the modpacks deliver are huge. So trying to get a specific job done at a reasonable rate can be really problematic.

And yeah, I do appreciate it's pretty bug free - I rarely if ever see bugs.

I'm talking more about mechanics and little annoyances more than bugs ;)

If you are going to spend some time fixing some of the small things may i suggest taking a moment to revamp hunting.  My suggestion would be to improve it by 1) not making the hunters go max or close to max distance from the target, sometimes it takes a long time before they get a few shots off or they constantly miss because they are shooting from such a long distance through trees and around corners 2) fix hunters ai to not shoot other colonist, especially the case when there are multiple hunters 3) allow the option for hunters to shoot, kill, and carry back the corpse like it is now OR shoot, kill and just move on to the next target.  Sometimes i want my hunters to just kill entire herd or group of animals and not worry about hauling at that moment.  Just suggestions, not demands but please do consider it :-)
