<esc> is no longer equivalent to right-click

In Alphas 5-7, pressing <tab> while the Architect menu was open would have the same effect as right-click, closing the Architect menu and de-selecting the currently active tool. In Alpha 9 that is no longer the case, and the only way to de-select an Architect tool is by right clicking.

I tried Alpha 9 for the first time on a laptop, and thought the game was completely unplayable for about 15 minutes. :/

Er, I mean <esc>, not <tab>. Sorry. It used to be that the first <esc> would close Architect, and the second <esc> would de-select the currently selected tool. Now, the second <esc> brings up the menu instead, and it is impossible to de-select the current tool from the keyboard.

I think in A8 you can reconfigure your keyboard shortcuts, but I haven't tried it yet.
I like how this game can result in quotes that would be quite unnerving when said in public, out of context. - Myself

The dubious quotes list is now public. See it here
