Finally, after nearly twenty assaults, the raiders scored enough lucky hits with their incendiary launchers to wipe out 2/3rds of the defending colonists. Below you'll see a picture of the aftermath. Click it to view a higher-resolution image.

In this battle alone, 18 sentry guns were lost, in addition to the 12-panel solar farm. There are a total of 78 filled graves, thanks to an incessant stream of raiding parties. 37 corpses remain unburied, as the pace of attacks grew too rapid to clean-up.

The three remaining souls will actually survive to defend against one final wave of attackers, killing no less than 12 before succumbing to their ultimate end. Their use of cover fire and corner-leaning was impressive.
