no architect or interaction

I was playing a game and testing a out afew ideas.

Problem is i've lost the architect and the ability to interact with the colonists ingame. once i noticed that that cryo pod room with steam geyser was doing something. I can still move the camera/view point around though so thinking i've just disabled the HUD. how do i turn it but on?

has anyone seen anything like this?

F9 for toggling the ui on and off, you might have accidentally toggled that on?
(Has happened to me in several games so far =P)
Great for screenshots ;D not so great for anything else

yeah, i'm an idoit F9 is my decrease sound :3

do anyother Function keys do anything?

F10 takes a screenshot but I don't think any of the others do anything
