64x64 should work great and I am not too sure if there will be a big difference in detail in the game later.

Thanks. Methinks I'll have to re-do the front helmet (made it 64x64, not 128x128 by mistake), but I should have a complete set(s) finished soon.
Maybe even several helmet variants.
But the original resolution is 64 by 64, is it not?

TrashMan

hm...texture pack is 128x128. Dunno. Maybe I made them unenecessarily bigger :(

I think it doesnt care because the game scales down anyways. I have also 256x256 over detailed item textures which were scaled down by the game.

Ere you go:
http://www.mediafire.com/download/p8111ceksvyeis2/Astartes.rar

Alpha version of both armors.

aw I totally love love love them... Err I mean: well done battle brother!

TrashMan

Next up - same variants (especially helmets), bling and purity seals.
Also assault cannon, power fists and heavy flamers.
Cyclone missile launcher?
Dang..that is built-in. How do go around that one?

TrashMan

FYI, the Astartestarmor.xml I released is missing the <ThinDefs> tags

If you whant to use the bolter:
http://dev.evul.nu/mantis/view.php?id=297

It requires the Project Armory assembly dll located in the download directory.
