Combinational Crafting

Hi, very new to the game so I don't know if this has been mentioned, but I would love to see 'combinational' crafting implemented.

The idea is to use items in the crafting process. Some examples:
LMG-15 + steel = LMG Improvised Turret
Minigun + steel = Minigun Improvised Turret
Minigun + Bionic Eye + AI Core + Steel = Minigun Turret

That will be one very expensive turret. There is a mod that lets you make a weapon station on wich you can put any weapon in your stack.

But a Turret (as opposed to an Improvised Turret) would have the intelligence to NOT shoot friendlies in a crossfire.  And maybe have some other smarts too.
