I found out just now that you don't need to use hydroponics tables to grow indoors. If the ground is dirt or other plantable surface you can grow inside if it is bright or warm enough. I don't know why it took me so long to find this out. winters just got a lot easier now that i don't need to find the metal for 30 hydroponics bays.

yep just watch out in case of fire in your growing rooms though. i recently lost a colony because a fire started a turned the temp inside to about 3,000 degree's and killed then incinerated all my colonists
