Is there a way to assign specific crafting type to a colonist?

I ran into a problem where I have 2 crafting specialists, but since one is much better, I want him to stick to tailoring at all times, while the other one is suppose to cut stone chunks.

However, every now and then (when for example the tailor is going to eat or sleep), the stone-cutter takes over the tailoring workbench ruining my concept.

Any solution to that?

This is a great idea, and I was thinking the same thing yesterday when I only wanted specific people to haul and cremate dead bodies.

Short of locking the spesific colonist into a room with the spesific workbench or manually controlling the work assignment through fancy use of priority and micro i dont think so

I'm sure the game can be programmed to exclude (I would think exclude would be easier than include) everyone but one or more colonists.

Or, give the colonists more specific traits.

It would make sense for the progression of the game considering mental stability plays such a big part of it.  A crafter with a 20 level that easily can be mentally broken is worse than a crafter with a 3 level that has no empathy when it comes to cremation, for example.

My first tought would be that the easiest solution might be to tie ownership to work stations. Like across between the bed mechanic and the mechanic that ties ownership of art/products that arent completed.

This might be easier to do then expanding on the current skill tree.

Too bad... hope that gets implemented.

And yes, I'm currently locking colonists in a room to handle that. I put 3 meals and a bed so he can work until meal is spoiled.
I'm considering personal fridges for that purpose :P
