Problems alpha 8

Hi , i've just bought rimworld and i enjoy it but now , when i select "load colonie" i just get a black screen.
I heard there were problems on mac before but i have windows.
Am i the only one with this problem ? and can anybody help me ?

hi and thx.
But , my homescreen is normal , only when i click "load colonie" it doesn't load the world and just gives me a black screen , but i noticed some red sentences in my console (i will ad a screenshot).
However , thx for the reply.

Thanks for the screenshot, seems to be that alot of the definitions (WorkGiver, WorkType) are missing, You might have disabled the 'core' mod by accident.

Does the game work if you start a new world with a new colony?

I had the same issues a while ago, for some odd reason one or more xml file got corrupted.

Only way that I could figure out to fix the problem is to delete the game folder and unzip it back in place.

Thank you all for the comments , turns out my last safe file was corrupted , i loaded a different one and now i can play again

This is probably where Autosave comes in handy.
