Summary
Notebook outside of docking station, its display resolution is 1440x900, all following happens for fullscreen enabled. When starting the game, the window is blurry. If I make a screenshot using F11, the dimensions are reportedly 1434x786, the image is empty black rectangle - nothing is captured. Game says that's 1440x900. If I set resolution to 1440x900 in options, it changes to the real thing and all looks fine then. Starting the game again repeats this issue even after checking that prefs file stores the correct resolution.

I have Docky running (that is similar to Mac OS X Dock or Windows RocketDock) that is set to never hide. All maximized windows are appropriately smaller, they don't overlap the dock. If I set it to hide, the available area is then increased from 1434x786 to 1434x848. After setting the system panel to autohide as well, the in-game start-up screen estate grows to 1434x872. There is nothing left I could hide, it's a mystery to me where the remaining 6x28 pixels go. I have Awesomenauts installed as well and it doesn't have the issue.
