Blank World Map and Glitchy In-Game Graphics

The world map comes up as black, but can still be clicked on to found colonies and so on.  In game there are little graphical glitches with objects being cut in half, or clearing boxes of what should be stockpile fill color around them.  See the attached screenshots for details.

These both started happening at the same time, so I suspect they're related.  I'm afraid I don't know exactly what changed, I can only tell you that things worked alright before on this machine, at least in previous versions.

Having the same problem with the map, even in overview within colony. This problem started randomly for me. Anyone have any ideas?

I am having the same problem.
I didn't change anything. It just happened when I started a new game.

The world map problem is a known issue that will happen when you minimize the game.

The in-game rendering problem looks like a driver issue. What OS and video card are you using? Can you upgrade your video drivers and try again please?

EDIT: Closing as I think this is a driver/Unity issue.
