Why do most of the females have shaved heads?

The only female I've really seen that had hair was one of my starting characters and the outlander town females.

AFAIK there's no bias for hair, it's entirely random based on some categories I believe (or maybe they just have a weird trend going on over there).

Yep most of my females have spiked hair. But I have one bald one who looks like a alien.

And hair doesn't effect colonist or game play.

Yep most of my females have spiked hair. But I have one bald one who looks like a alien. 

Same here, I'm seeing more spiked hair styles than any other.
