I was trying to deal with a crashed ship part at the time, I had enticed the mechs out of there stupid home and then the "drive species insane" event came up. at first I was thinking "really game, I have to deal with tonnes of angry squires as well as the mechs" then I read what species was driven insane, the resulting carnage was beautiful.
Some sort of psychic wave has swept over the landscape. Your colonists are okay, but...

It seems many of the Centipedes in the area have been driven insane.

Pics or it didn't happen  =P
(Seriously, I'd LOVE to see that!)

I've had the same thing happen to me, actually, mostly while in dev mode spamming the animal insanity event. Scythers and mechanoids are susceptible to insanity, in which they begin trying to stab you. Scythers are actually a WHOLE lot more deadly when not using sniper rifles.

Not centipedes, and from back in A7, but here.

This only makes me want friendly Mechanoid guards even more, just so I can read that message and be all like "Mother of God......." when I read just what's been driven insane.
