I might be going on a limb here, but that 9250 is about 8-10 years old. Its possible the few "3D" features or the shaders that are used in the unity engine for RimWorld are just not compatible with a computer as old as that. Thats Direct3D 8.1 and shader model 1.4

We have long since surpassed that.

WOW. Thank you soo much! This has happened in other online/flash games i have played, and no-one could answer it. thank you for a insightful response! i do believe you are right. my computer knowledge it spotty at best and i don't think i would ever have figured it out.

 You're welcome. For future knowledge, whenever you usually experience graphics issues, it will generally be a hardware issue. If it is software related, other people will most likely find it as well then due to it being on more systems.

At this moment in time it would be recommended for you to most likely replace your entire computer. Finding another AGP card would probably cost you the same as a full machine replacement. If you need suggestions or opinions on new PC buying, you could post a question in the off-topic forums for peoples opinions.

Otherwise a quick search on the web like "cheap gaming computer" or "expensive gaming computer" etc. You could even find a cheap "office" machine that should be able to run RimWorld and a few other games you are having issues with
