Some things I'm not too keen on...

So far... and, obviously jumping the gun, these are just suggestions to oddities I've found. Feel free to slap me with a trout if you feel inclined otherwise. :P

Firefighting. Is there a skill for this? A trait? So far I haven't seen it, but rather the command via the Dwarf Therapist style overview pane where you can toggle it, which seems to do nothing. I've had miners/settlers/whatever (with ONLY that duty turned on) wistfully idle by an inferno, not to do a thing.

No Z-index. Fine, I'm not expecting anything as advanced as this so early out of the gate, but having energy lines take up the square for, say, a cabinet or chair is hopefully not going to stay in the game forever like it is now.

Random things taking damage. This one is just more of an annoyance. For example, I'll have a wall way in the back of a room somewhere (since I'm using them as power leads). The room is full of batteries or something else, making the certain spot impossible to get to, thus repair.

Moving objects. I want to move chairs and such (hopefully I didn't miss anything)... 'nuff said.

Idiot tasking. I'll have someone digging a 1x1 trench into something, then fill with walls hoping they'd wall off as they exit... Nope.

Firefighting - if someone takes a task, no-one else can. Very often someone from other side of the map takes a task, while a guy right next to it does nothing. Tynan already acknowledged that problem.

No Z-plane and boy, is the game better off for it! Tynan does not plan to add it, or if so it would be in far future.

You need to plan out your base with random things getting damaged. If you ask me, it's all good and fine. Forces you to keep space between stuff instead of just shoving 20.000 batteries or building walls on walls on walls.
