The tables fit excellent if you make a kitchen or need a bed table :)
Or if you need a table in a hallway or in the armory.
EDIT: I build one to be a disk when entering the base.
A new update version 1.50 has been released for the E-Furniture mod. The mod contains a new table that is in the size of 1x2. Making it possible to decorate your base whit more tables!

I've seen colonists stack their meals before. 2 in one spot because the chairs allowed for it.

What about a few roun tables? 1x1 and 2x2 would be the only ones that really work. 3x3 would be to big and the corners would take up an empty space. :P
Also, could you make some wooden 1x1 2x1 3x1 tables and such? Maybe even a wooden plant pot? Have it raise the beautifulness of the area one higher than the standard tables and one higher than the normal plant pots.

The light can be placed everywhere and be rotated. At the moment and the cable is still there. But it will probably be fixed i alpha 3 :)

I have a mod where lights are built into the walls, taking no space at all, but I have to finish balancing it before I release it. :P I think I'll go ahead and release it though, it is pretty balanced after all. xD Tomorrow at the latest.
I use same values as the floor lamp except for one less glow level. :P
Aren´t your colored lamps making real light? If I mouse over an adjacent field, it shows 'dark'. ???

I'll try this mod out once my current fort attempt has failed. Here's a few things that I think would be kinda cool to see:
-More colored carpets, for customization. Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet would be nice to make a full collection for different rooms and patterns. Perhaps black and white too.
-Colored walls would be cool too. They could be the same as regular walls, but tinted various colors. They could match the walls, but with more greyed out colors
-different lights. The regular standing bulb doesn't feel appropriate for indoor settlements. The wall lights are a nice touch, but perhaps some hanging florescent lights or something that villagers could walk through? or 1x2 lamps? Or perhaps outdoor lights, that have a lower chance of getting electrocuted if they get rained on. Lawn lights, or lamp posts.
-More decorative objects to cheer up your colonists. Paintings or sculptures or stuff would be nice to see, on the sides of walls or something to fill space in your colonists's rooms.
-New kinds of flowers? It'd be nice to see a handful more flowers to be grown in your gardens, if that's possible to add

I'll look in to some of the stuff. :) more decorations is one of the thing I'm looking at.
I'm not sure why, but when I use the solo table with 2 chairs placed opposite of each other, and my people are eating raw berries, one of them is "eating from a stack of 0" infinitely till I military mode them because it seems they stack the food together into one pile it looks like.
Also, your mini com console doesn't work, the half sized coms, it doesn't allow traders unless you have the full sized one somewhere.

Well, when I had it down, I used spawn trader thing from the dev menu. I did this multiple times. Nothing happened, so I placed down a normal com console, and spawned one. I got the notification just fine that time and instead of using the normal one, I sent my guy to the advanced half sized one from your mod and there were 3 traders waiting there for me. So maybe you don't get a notification till you have the big fat console?
I've had similar occurrences as Vas^
When I have only an Advanced Comms placed, I get the "No Trading Capacity" message, top-right of the screen. If I place a Normal Comms, it dissappears.
Maybe it has to do with Object-linked notifications. Turrets do the same thing with "Defenses".
What does the Radar Table do? There's some function on it which is enable-able.
The table have no function. It only emit light, and drain power that's the only thing it do. (at the moment)
The advance comms console definitely works, but the prompt remains until you build a normal one.
Great mod, btw, hope to see more decor as time goes on. Even though the radar table doesn't do anything really, it's a nice addition and fits the theme perfectly.

More different things will be in game later on, and hopefully i will be able to make more stuff that give bonuses and other kind of good stuff, later on when the game progresses. :)
I've been thinking of all kind of furniture,
A 2 person seat or bench if possible,
A 1x2 desk with a 1x2 chair for one person(they would sit between 2 squares so no idea how)
A decoration like the pooltable, but made like a workshop or something so colonists interact when loyalty is low and get a happiness buff.
On the decorative stuff.. I dont know how well a flat painting or poster would work considering the game is mostly topdown.

Some stuff I've been working on. Tablelamp is your tinytable I drew a lamp on and made glow.
Pooltable was from google images, I edited a bit, mostly a test making a basic "pretty" building, for statue or something.
The hanging lamps are a retextured floorlamp, I can't seem to make them placeable over the pool table,
and they still have the cord, which looks ugly when placed away from wall.
I made the fireplace texture myself, it just glows and looks pretty, still figuring out how to make good custom art.
Sorry to post all this here, I dont want to upload all these random things, but I thought you might be interested. Thanks for a good mod, I like what you've done so far.

heh, I can see red and green fine, its complex, but I dont see shades of anything well, all the colors blend together/seem the same, my biggest problem is not seeing ugly marks on my textures.

But then I realize that's probably a lot of items if the only difference is color. Maybe someday we can choose a color when selecting the item. So only one Carpet, but when selecting the icon to build it, we can choose which color we want.
I'm making a one that looks closer to the existing furniture. It will be a flat color like the rest of the game so I'll make 2 versions and we can choose then.
I've just been churning out whatever furniture things I can thing of and getting them into mod form. Rather sloppy on coding and texture ends, but cleanable.

I made a couple with that idea awhile back. I never added them because the textures didn't render so well in game, need to be careful with complex textures.
I also still don't know how to place an buildings under another. So when placing it in a bedroom or something, you need a full 2x3 open squares to use the rug, instead of being able to place it partially under the bed.

Placing them under the building was the same barrier i encountered.
Maby have them as a floor level texture or floor level emplacement?
My floor addon in clutter is floor emplacment but this dont work, i was trying filth layer, but it didnt show object at all at that time. So im not sure if its even possible without making a custom attlitude layer or something :D
I will try to add a new carpet layer :)

Would the render priority have anything to do with this? Have "filth" but a high render priority?
Hope E-Furniture is ready soon, I'm missing my floor lights!

Yeah I was going to ask about that...
Maybe a temporary measure would just be making the cable graphic transparent, if that's something you can edit?
There are only 3 lvles of transparency that i found for textures in game and they arent to good in terms of transparency.
I have found the cable generation code so if some one smart could help me out and edit the code so we could add a <GenerateCable> code whould be awesome :)

Will be updated as soon as i manage to manipulate the new table textures etc.
