mod request dev mode

Why do you want to hide it? Just deactivate it in the options.

because i suck at controlling myself when it comes to cheating and i want to actually play the game without cheats

Well the game is in Alpha, and is still obviously not finished. This is used to test various aspects of the game, in an instance, so it is a valuable tool. An entire alpha should not be compromised because a few testers are unable to "not cheat".

well the entire alpha wouldn't be compromised by me wanting to actually see how long i can last
