Cold snap - heaters in rooms, or heaters in passageways with vents linking the passageway to the rooms you want to keep warm. A passageway or a room with lots of doors will leak heat out quite fast so will need more heaters.

Heat wave - Air-conditioners/coolers. Use them just like you would with a walk-in chiller/freezer except have some method of pumping the heat to the outside.

Airlocks are also great for keeping warm/cooled air where you want it (basically they're just door-space-door which slows leaking right down).

I don't quite get what you mean by that,can you show me a screenshot of a working system? And i appreciate all the help you have given me :D

i cant keep my rooms cold/hot enough and my colonists die because of it, plz help.

Note: sorry for the mass questions on the forums, i started playing again recently and i am very bad :/

Just want to know how to deal with it, since i can't get my colonists to have good clothes lots of the time, they mostly have poor <50% everything.

My others are clutter by morofa, Mad skills (stops skill degradation), More mechanoids (adds a new mech and allows you to "recruit" downed mechs), and vas's Population Event change. (Makes it so no matter how many colonists you have you still can get wanderer join incidents and the like.)

Just looking for some good mods to play with, i've looked through the mod forums and found a couple, i'd like to get opinions from other people about mods, and maybe add them to my game

I am an alpha 6 player, who stopped playing the game for a while, and i recently got back into it, i have played maybe 20 hours so far, and i always die before a year passes. I mostly die because my colonists get raided to death due to no security, they starve to death due to no food, or they go crazy. I really just need tips for early game , micro managing and effective buildings. Most of my early game resources go into a building that sucks, and that i have to tear down soon after. Any help at all would be appreciated!

It is like this with all mods enabled and disabled, I have done a complete reinstall and deleted my mods file in LocalLow\Ludeon Studios. This even effects the Alpha 11d update. Anyone know what to do?

I have restarted the game, all mods I had on, i turned off and deleted. It started when i first made a colony with mods, but removing the mods did nothing. The mods i had were MD2 base, MD2 fortifications, more mechanoids, edbinterface, edbmodorder, edbprepare carefully, and veinminer

Support / glitch with game, need help

there is a small box around my colonists, that goes over all textures and terrrain, it also messes with the clothe textures on the colonist. i really need a fix, because it is really annoying, and i cant play the game without it making me go crazy.

IDK what caused this, but it is really, really annoying and i am gonna go crazy if i play with it, so please tell me if you have a fix.
