Can I attach the save file?

The moment when I went and picked 2 heal roots, it instantly let me to the surgery.  *sigh* thanks all.
#2
Ok, so I do have 1 regular medicine in storage right now.  But thats it. Do you need more then 1, for surgery?

Also, the storage pile has both fresh and rotten storage enabled.  Still doesn't recognize chunks.
#3
I...will check on that.  Thanks!

Bugs / Prostetics not being recognized for surgery
April 04, 2020, 05:12:35 PM
So, this bug might not be just related to my single stock pile.  But there are stockpiles, where I simply can't place things.  I have chunks enabled on one, and it said there were no available places to store chunks.  I had mecanoid storage in another, and it said there was no place to store mechaniods.

But this is the first time, I've gotten this issue with something already in a stockpile.  One of my colonists has a destroyed left leg.  I recently unlocked prostetics, and made 2 legs.  I put a bill on that colonist to install a protestic left leg.  But its saying I don't have the available resources.  Do I need something other then the leg to install it?  Or is this bug related to my previous ones, where it simply doesn't recognize that my stopiles exist, and are configured to store things?

I feel like your not quite reading what I'm saying.  Or perhaps I'm not being clear.

Either way, let me re-iterate.  There were no mods.  There were never any mods.  I never, not once, installed a mod in Rimworld.

This is why I was confused.
#6
Yea, I just overwrote the existing files from before.  But Since I didn't use any mods from before, I figured that there was nothing to overwrite in the mods folder.

I still overwrote that folder, but still.
#7
Ok, so I'm not sure what happened.

But, I simply deleted the entire mods folder.  Then ran the startrimworld.sh file.  Once I did, the game started and ran perfectly.

No idea why those errors were thrown in the first place, but...its good now?  Question mark?
#8
I did read them, but they made no sense to me.  I have no mods installed.  This is a freshly downloaded install, from the Zip file.  I, quite literally, just unzipped it, put the royalty expansion in the data folder, and moved the contents into the rimworld folder.

Hello all,

So I just bought and installed the royalty expansion today.  And when I start up the game, I get a list of errors:

As far as I know, I installed it correctly.  I took the contents of the data folder from the expansion, and put it in the data folder in the rimworld directory.  Is there another step I missed?

Excellent!  Thanks!

Hello all,

So this new update got me back into rimworld something fierce.  And I've enjoyed this game since I first backed it on KS.  So I wanted to keep voting with my wallet, and buy the DLC.  I'm just not on steam, as I prefer my lack of DRM.

Is there a place to purchase the new DLC other then Steam?
#12
are we going to have to re-buy the game once it gets released into 1.0?
#13
Thanks all!  I think those original 2 eggs were put in the freezer.  Because now I have 3 chicks running around.

Thanks again!

General Discussion / How do you get chicks from chickens?
February 18, 2018, 09:59:18 AM
Hidy ho all,

I bought some chickens from a passing trader.  And I have a few fertalized eggs sitting in a heated stockpile, but they are saying they've been ruined by the temperature and will spoil in 13 days.

What little I know of breeding chickens tells me you need a fertalized egg, heat, and a safe place to store them to make them hatch.  So...is this not the case in rimworld?

Ok, first time ever doing this.  So this will be interesting.  Thanks!
