I had this in the past too and stuffing them in a freezer for a moment seemed to help
when I released them from the freezer they went to eat again and sleep :)

The colonist in question would get up head over to the food ,stop right before and refuse to do anything.
changing priority or drafting undrafting didn't help. So out off pure spite i locked him up in the freezer
and it seemed to help. just don't forget to release him from there :)

for shredded raiders I make tiny kill rooms. room size of 2*3 tiles with one turret in it and 2 doors
1 in  and 1 out to the next small kill room  . Works great on the red carpet of death (Crazy squirrels overrun )

I just had every squirrel on the map attack my base. By good fortune I had 2  3*2 boxes with a gun linked to the entrance. both guns went up in a bang but so did the squirrels like a squirrel pinate. I love it when boom rats mix in with the fury carpet of death :) . it was snowing squirrel fur for sure

I restarted my colony 3 times already not liking the setup i made.
sometimes i build something out of need but it doesn't fit the general building structure i wanted to achieve. ;)

some i thought of  last night

storage boxes that have predefined  space  like 1 box holds 4 to 8 garments
or Armament boxes each can hold 4 times the same weapon
when you click on it  a screen loads a la Ultima where you see a surface with the items on it ready to interact with

traps   like team rocket makes in pokemon:

- a pit trap to slow down or knock Unconscious  the assailant
- gas grenades with sleep gas

you could make sure they cross paths by making designated hallways they need to follow sort of choke points in the middle of nowhere
my maps always become labyrinths for the tourists :)

just had my second raid with 15 pirates : I do love those bionic eyes on my hunter with a LMG :)

the ability to trade colonists with other players in some way :)
so we can catch them all  :P
