Maybe you just should end the 32 bit support for Rimworld.

That would be kind of a dickish move to those of us who supported the game's development because it runs on our old 32-bit computers. "Oh, hey, development is complete, don't need you anymore, sucker," would be the message I would take away from that.

Although I agree with you - just note that the game's requirements include a Core 2 Duo with 4GB of memory - so if it becomes a hassle for some reason to develop for 32bit, I wouldn't be surprised if it gets dropped. Don't think that will become a problem though.

How does it run without mods? Wouldn't be surprised if some mod is slowing things down... :)

From my experience from real-life, ACs become less efficient at extreme outside temperatures. This is because for an AC to operate, it has to be cooled efficiently (fan blowing over radiator). If the heat-wave temperature isn't cold enough to cool down the radiator, the AC reaches a plateau and can't decrease the temperature further. Therefore my opinion is that the game's mechanics are pretty spot-on. :)

Good question, I would also like to know.

Another question, if I may be so rude to do a slight high-jack - what's the most efficient way to get nutrients out of meat for my colonists? Times are tough and they've had no choice but to start eating human meat...should I go the nutrient paste or simple meal route?

Ehh, nevermind...

I can easily get a hold of a flyer for a Sangoma (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Traditional_healers_of_South_Africa) that promises to fix such problems...  :P

I did some testing.

Thanks for this! Always wondered whether my double walls and airlock were really doing anything!

My fridge is normally directly connected to the kitchen area and then also to the outdoor farm. I put an airlock at the farm door and I keep my kitchen at 15C, tends to work quite well even during heatwaves :)

What if Ludeon Will make similar game to Rimworld in Izometric view? It's possible? Or other studio will do it. I wan't to play game like Rimworld but in 3d or only with x and y axis ;p.

What would it add to the game? If the answer is nothing, then it doesn't need it.
I'm also sure lots of people play RW on rather limited spec PCs which don't want it more taxing on their systems.

As a South African, you don't want to buy anything beyond the border at the moment...1USD = 16.5ZAR...I miss the days of $1 = R5 :(

Tynan, my brother bought two copies of RW, of which he gave one to me, but it's still linked to his e-mail account. Will you be incorporating multi-key e-mail addresses into this tool? There might be others in the same situation :)
