Sounds like a brilliant idea. I'd love to see it in the game.

I think adding in different Diet preferences such as vegetarian, vegan, or carnivorous might be an interesting. It would also require another level of depth by adding in "meal groups" or something to that affect where the group of colonists in meal group A would only eat the meals in stockpile 3 which are entirely made of meat. This could also come in handy when dealing with cannibals and creating a meal group for them which included human meat meals.

I understand whole-heartedly where you are coming from and I agree more so with the other comments that include listing all sexual orientations and possibly changing the terminology
