Yeah it seems attacking or imprisoning a slave will damage relations as game tracks slaves as members of said faction.
SO far slavery is nearlly non-usable, save for options where yo take slaves from permanently hostile factions.

I am not able to reproduce this behavior on 1.3.3087, please repost a new bug report if you have this issue again.

Faction A sells me a slave originating from Faction A
I imprison said slave from Faction A(for conversion)
Faction A is infuriated that I impisoned a slave they sold me and relations go from +5 to -70 or so.

I never go for them. Mostly because messing with caravans is a pain and brings me more frustration than benefits.

PSM is awesome stuff for caravans, but one thing renders them useless for me.
There is no easy way to prevent pawns from eating them on a daily basis.
I want to accumulate them but every time they end up being eaten. They are quite expensive to make but at the same time they are almost useless now as it is impossible to accumulate in needed numbers for caravans.
To make them work you have to issue a stockpile zone for PSM only, then restrict anyone but the cook from going there and then unrestrict everyone when caravan starts assembling. Or manually forbid stacks of 10 PSM. It is simply not worth the effort.

Can we have an option to reserve certain meals for caravans? Or prevent certain meal consumprion to have a kind of reserve, given PSM won't expire.

There is no easy way to prevent Packaged Survival Meal from being consumed or reserved for caravans, so providing meals for caravans is troublesome. And of course they are inefficient. Better request caravan, than go through all the trouble of assembling and traveling.

I'd rather see mechanoid colonies, with some drone units and guards. I mean if they land they should wipe some colonies, like tribal ones, so there must be some mechanoid presence on the planet. Nowthey are mostly entombed in various locked areas.

None. Melee is godawful even with A17 rework. I use melee only if I get brawler pawns or recruits. Melee runs now is a kind of challenge for the sake of challenge, like no iron runs in dwarf fortress.

Until we have no implemented "morality" system there is no reason to be friends with pirates. If in future we will have a colony of slavering cannibal raiders, then pirate factions at least can possibly be traded with, logically, but for now - pirates are pirates.

I find caravans rarely worth the effort. If I need steel then I request bulk trader caravan because I can always make silver to compensate. All the troubles with bad events ambushes, insanely huge food demand - nope.

Better use Core Drill mode. Its 2000 steel 25 components and other stuff along with huge power consumption to build but then produce any metal in tiny lumps.
At least it's making games fun
