Thank you for the suggestion but Moody is what I am really looking for. I just wondered if there was a way to get it on the bottom toolbar.
#2
Apologies if this has been asked before but can Moody be docked to the toolbar at the bottom of the screen (like mods such as Pharmacist) or is it floating only? I do understand the Moody view can be collapsed to the small floating box.

Releases / [1.1] Traits : Corpse Handling 1.0
April 30, 2020, 12:51:16 PM

DESCRIPTION

Since seeing corpses and managing moods is such a major part of Rimworld, I wanted to create a mod that would allow Pawns such as the Colony Doctor or Tribal Shaman to have the strength of mind to view and handle corpses without suffering negative effects.

While Pawns with Bloodlust, Cannibal and Psychopath can already do this in certain circumstances, those Traits come as a package with other abilities which might not be desirable from a role-playing point of view.

This mod adds the following two Traits...

  • Desensitized : NAME has seen too many people die and finds it normal now. HE is still disgusted by the thought of handling rotting corpses however.
  • Totally Desensitized : NAME has seen far too many people die and finds it normal now. Even rotting corpses do not affect HIM.

The first Trait is somewhat uncommon (0.8 weighting) and the second is rather rare (0.4 weighting). Of course with EdB Prepare Carefully you can easily pick a specific Trait to allocate to a chosen Pawn.

DOWNLOADS

1.0 : Steam / FTP (320Kb)

DEPENDENCIES

None

CONFLICTS

None known although Cannibal Party and Cannibal Party+ already turn off the ObservedLayingCorpse and ObservedLayingRottingCorpse moodlets for all Pawns.

TECHNICAL

This mod is written using xpath in order to cause as few conflicts as possible. It creates two new TraitDefs called DC_Desensitized and DC_TotallyDesensitized. It contains a Patch that uses PatchOperationAdd to insert the new TraitDefs into the list of nullifyingTraits for the ObservedLayingCorpse and ObservedLayingRottingCorpse ThoughtDefs. It should not conflict with any mod that has been written with xpath in mind.

PERMISSIONS

You may update or alter this mod, put it in a Mod Compilation or merge it into any other mod without seeking permission. You may upload this mod on any site that supports Rimworld modding.

OS : Linux Mint 18.2
Rimworld : Steam 0.17.1557

Issue : When attempting to view the Steam Workshop page for a mod, the Steam browser only shows a blank page.

I have just accessed my copy of Rimworld for the first time since A16 and know that many of the mods I used are out of date or no longer needed due to A17 features so I wanted to check what mod updates I needed. I got the usual message about the game version having changed and that old saves were not guaranteed to work. I also was showed the list of mods installed, most of which were in white (A17 compatible) and some which were in red (A16 only). All mods were disabled (red X) of course.

When I click on a mod in the list (say HugsLib as an example), I see its information page along with the button for Workshop Page. When I clock that, the Steam Overlay appears and the background of the game is faded out a little. The Steam Browser appears in the centre of the screen but is totally blank. I see the following URL (for HugsLib) steam://url/CommunityFilePage/818773962 but there is no page loading. If I click the "+" icon to open a new tab, I do indeed get the default home page (Google in my case) and the browser works. I can search, choose other pages and so on. I just can't get the steam:// pages to load.

I should state that I have also moved house and changed from Virgin Media to BT during the time I have been offline in case that is relevant information.

Any ideas?

Are you using two monitors? I see a reference to a virtual desktop size in that log. If so, does the map load without the second monitor attached?

The screenshot appears to be 1280x800. I wonder if RimWorld on a Mac handles minimum resolution differently?

Just a quick heads up... Tynan has said that the "Incapable of... Scary" will be removed from A17 as it no longer has meaning.

Which would you suggest was the correct behaviour? My feeling is that the Hungry colonist should go to the Hospital bed anyway, regardless of Hunger state and that it should then immediately generate a "Feed the Patient" job for someone else.

Heh - is it ironic that you made a spelling mistake in the post title?

It would help the devs if you posted small clips of screenshots where the errors exist because they may be specific to certain windows in the UI.

Could you post the RimWorld log file and list any mods?

The devs will need to see your logfile which should be in...

/tmp/rimworld_log
~/.config/unity3d/Ludeon Studios/RimWorld/Player.log

Bugs / Re: Stockpile thingy
March 22, 2017, 02:28:30 PM
An interesting corner case.

I was under the impression that any colonist interacting with a stack in a stockpile (whether picking up or dropping off) effectively reserved the entire stack until their hauling task was complete. Maybe it is handled differently if it is the last stack in the stockpile that can be used.

Fluffy - I saw your comment on the Steam Workshop about the updated Harmony library. I assume we will have to wait until you push a new Stack merger version because the library is bundled inside the mod, yes?

I am using Linux Mint Cinnamon at the moment and am happy with it. It is also based off Debian and Ubuntu and comes in three main flavours depending on your needs, hardware and experience. It favours a "safe" update cycle rather than "edgy" so is very stable.

Here is the website if you want to have a look... https://www.linuxmint.com/index.php

You could have a look at an issue or two of Linux Format and see if anything else takes your fancy.

Is there anything we can do to help narrow it down for you?
