Basically, assign all parts classifications--Upper, Lower, and Center.

Then have "Lower Ranged Attack", "Center Ranged Attack", and "Upper Ranged Attack".

This has two effects.

1.Makes it SO MUCH FASTER TO KILL CENTIPEDES BECAUSE YOU CAN TARGET THE HEADS

2.Makes it so that you don't get fucking ridiculous things like a boar getting you in the eye with a tusk.

or turtle riping apart your face ..... +1

So I'm guessing it would work something like this.

Upper Attacks allow higher headshot/kill chance hits, but more misses

Mid Attacks are well round attacks

Lower Attacks have more in-capitation chances, but more misses as well.

Also, boars can get pretty large, and they are in the game.  So getting tackled by one of them and getting a tusk rammed into your eye isn't too insane of an idea.

That's the basic idea. And while they are large, they generally are about waist height, right?

Center attacks would be what we have now, with high chance of hitting the torso and small chances of hitting everything else.

The way I see it working is this:If you'd normally hit, you have a 50% to hit something in the region you aim in, and 25 for each adjacent zone. Air and Center are adjacent to Upper, and Ground and Center to Lower.

Thus, aiming for the legs just about triples your capture chance--Changing it from(assuming you're using a sniper or something that would generally be lethal/blow off the part aimed at) 75%ish to kill and 25%ish to incapacitate, 50% incapacitate, and 25% kill, with 25% extra miss chance.

Aiming for the head with a low damage weapon would have a similar effect with killshots.
