Has anyone figured out how to kill with joy?

In the last update, which added temperature and heating, there was a scramble to figure out how to weaponized central heating. Many designs were created and many raiders died, proving that gamers will find a way to turn anything into a weapon. Now, with the joy update well and mature, has any one found a way to kill with joy? The closest I got was when I put down a prison riot with a molotov by accident, setting the chess table on fire and incinerating my prisoners. so, has anyone found out how to kill with joy?

Yes. Build a room with a television and feed the colonists lavish meal every day.

They will get fat and die due to obesity-related illnesses.

I would so love to do bodyweight and obesity simulation. Lol.

Well, nothing is stopping you from adding a:
- Colonist Weight variable,
- Colonist average Lavish meal intake variable,
- Colonist average movement per day variable
and linking them all together with a pawn sprite  :D

Whenever you use a pool cue as a weapon for the first time you should have to pull a chit for its random effect. ;)

Haven't tried this yet, but lock them in a room with nothing but beer. Get them roaring drunk to the point they puke and pass out. Soon they'll be in a room full of nothing but Beer and their own puke. They'd die happily drunk after sometime perhaps :P

Seems like this would be a great system for converting nutrient paste into delicious meat.

This is getting disgusting, but I agree here. Fat colonists wouldn't provide more meat, since "meat" is traditionally muscle tissue. Obese colonists could be butchered for another product, marbled human steaks and adipose perhaps, which would provide much less nutrition but work great inside a nutrient paste dispenser. It could also be used to enhance the joy of the foods cooked, so long as the other colonists remain blissfully unaware of how they managed to get deep fried potatoes in a colony without oil.

yea.. but how do we weaponize joy?

i tried placing beer near the killzone but raiders ignore it (they're unbelievably sober!).

the only thing i can think of is designating a no-clean "puke-zone", where people would hang out and get wasted and puke all over (and NEVER clean it), so when raiders arrive they'd go.. "eww... gross", which would hopefully create a puking chain-reaction.

non-lethal, yes. entertaining? verily.  ;D

If this happens I would hope that BAKING would be included somehow into the cooking system, with the ability to grow Sugarcane (or other high sucrose foods) so we could have the BEST food ingredient ever !!! Then we could even make fancy birthday cakes to celebrate some colonists b-days in style with a Joy bonus for everyone who participated... and knowing you Ty, there could be a rare event that could make everyone come down with food poisoning. :)

Thanks to you I'm imagining a Cake food which can be placed on a table like sculpture and every colonist trying to get a slice of it as soon as possible.

How to kill with joy dunno but cool event idea if colonist is walking past someone playing horse shoes and gets hit in the head, incapacitated, needs medical treatment and maybe looses/gains traits/skills through amnesia. Same with playing billiards. Also if an abrasive pawn is playing chess or any game put in a small chance of a fight to break out.

and when the colony idiot is cloud watching I zoom in and prey for a lighting bolt to hit that spot.
Its not a battle unless some limbs are getting shot off!
