It would be really cool if you could designate certain items as "gifts" and if visitors could leave gifts for you in your stockpile zones. What gifts visitors accept would depend on their faction/character/current outfit/etc, a tribe person might for example like normal-legendary quality tribal clothing and not care about things like button down shirts. Visitors could come equipped with random items and whether or not they leave it behind depends on 1) the value of the item, 2) your relations with their faction, 3) whether you have any gifts that the visitor likes. There could also be rare joy items that can only be gotten through gifts, incentivizing making positive relations with the locals.

This could give an interesting alternative to selling and would add more depth to the factor relationships.

Yeah that would be actually a cool feature.

This would also be a nice way to increase relations with factions that have such low goodwill that you can't send them silver, but aren't hostile against you.

"Why are they still hostile to us? We've given them lots of gifts!"

"I don't think they'd appreciate gifts of their own comrades' corpses..."
I like how this game can result in quotes that would be quite unnerving when said in public, out of context. - Myself

The dubious quotes list is now public. See it here
